Christmas Cheer from Urban Affairs - December 23rd, 2011
Only 2 more days till Christmas! It is nice to get to plan a tablescape and actually get to enjoy it with your family and friends! All of us here at Urban Affairs are scurrying to plan and design our own family dinner tables and somehow it seems to much more difficult when you have to sit at it yourself. We look forward to posting the pictures soon after Christmas day.
Wishing you all a very merry holiday and fun with however you choose to spend your day this December 25th!

Sarah & Jared’s Home Run - December 20th, 2011
Vintage themes are always fun because it is completely acceptable to incorporate variety and not match. However, adding a baseball theme twist was a bit more of a challenge. This wedding was one of our first of the season and it was the perfect way to kick off the summer! I love, love, love the way the bride incorporated the baseball theme into the centerpieces. She spent a ton of time searching for enough random vintage objects to make each centerpiece completely unique. Her help certainly made our job easier. The backdrop was a simple twist on the basic fabric backdrop with old barn wood windows and with a quick visit to the flower shop it pulled together. And I HAVE to mention the absolutely adorable pie table in lieu of a cake. What a yummy idea!
I’d say it was a home run!
